Service Line and Meter Installation

Below are the requirements for service line and meter set installation. This information will assist in providing faster service when your homes or buildings are in the construction phase. 

Information for Service Line Installation

  • Builder name and contact information
  • Address information for premise
    • street address, city, state, zip code
    • subdivision name (if applicable)
    • lot or block number
    • inside or outside city limits
  • Premise type – Residential or Commercial
  • Gas pressure needed – ounces (.25) or pounds (2)
    • Pressure Required for Equipment Operation (enter .25 or 2)
    • Max Pressure for Equipment Regulator / Control Valve (enter .25 or 2)
  • Service line cannot be installed until the framing stage is completed. Schedule after the framing stage or during the batter board or brick stages.
  • Approximate BTU load
  • Verify that gas riser is stubbed or marked
