  • Health: To ensure 90 percent of Americans are healthier by 2028 
  • EducationTo ensure that 95 percent of students graduate high school ready for college and a career. 
  • Financial StabilityTo ensure 5 million Americans are financially stable and have better paying jobs by 2028 
  • Community Strengthening: To ensure communities remain strong by protecting and expanding charitable giving incentives and national service programs like 2-1-1, a vital resource for social services informationand to prevent human trafficking, punish offenders and support survivors.  
  • Coronavirus reliefTo support legislation that advocates for nutrition support, paid sick leave, health care coverage for necessary COVID-19 testing, expanded unemployment benefits, increased funding for emergency food and shelter programs, relief to small businesses, incentives to encourage charitable giving to local solutions, and much more for millions of families and communities 

United Way plays a key role when communities face disaster. From ensuring first responders can act swiftly to leading long-term recovery, United Way has the experience, networks and capacity to address even the most devastating events. United Way's primary role in times of disaster is in long-term recovery, which can take three to five years. 

With passion to Fuel Safe and Thriving Communities, Atmos Energy and its employees have donated more than $12 million to United Way since 2006 and has dedicated thousands of volunteer hours, helping our neighbors to succeed in school, gain solid financial ground and live healthier lives.
