Atmos Pipeline and Storage
Atmos Pipeline and Storage provides gas storage services to customers through ownership of natural gas storage facilities and associated pipeline facilities.
Fort Necessity
On January 30, 2008, Atmos Pipeline and Storage submitted a pre-filling request with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to operate and construct the Fort Necessity Salt Dome Storage. The proposed project would initially include the development of three 5 billion cubic feet (Bcf) caverns for a total of 15 Bcf, with six-turn injection and withdrawal capabilities.
