DALLAS (April 16, 2013) Ė Itís one of the cleanest, greenest vehicles in Dallas, and itís coming to an Earth Day celebration near you.
Atmos Energy will display its natural gas-powered fleet featuring the Honda Civic GX at the upcoming Earth Day Dallas event at Fair Park on April 20 and 21.
The Honda Civic GX runs exclusively on clean-burning natural gas and is used by Atmos Energy meter readers every day in Dallas. Participants at Earth Day Dallas can stop by the Atmos Energy booth #1031 the Automotive Building and learn how to reduce greenhouse emissions by choosing natural-gas fueled products for your home and transportation.
Atmos Energy has also teamed up with DART to promote its compressed natural gas buses. According to DART, the new buses will significantly lower harmful emissions, lower fuel costs and increase passenger comfort.
