Verlon R. Aston Jr.

Junior Aston was named vice president, governmental affairs, in May 2003. He had been vice president of marketing for Atmos Energy's Texas Division.

Aston joined the predecessor to the Texas Division in 1991 as a marketing representative. He was named the division's first manager of public affairs in 1997 and was promoted to vice president of marketing in 2000.

Aston has worked in the oil and natural gas industry since 1980.
